What is Upcycling I hear you ask..?!
The official definitions include:
“Upcycling (unlike recycling) is the practice of taking something that is disposable and transforming it into something of greater use and value, leading to a higher material and energy benefits”
Or “The practice of converting waste materials into products of greater value”
Basically-something new from something old!
It’s really a bit of a new spin on the old Make do and Mend philosophy, and I love it!
